SCOTTSDALE, AZ (March 19th, 2017) - Last month, one of our own published her first book in a series of three. Carla J. Underwood's first book signing of Mrs. Ivey's Café was held this Saturday. This private event was the first of many planned book signings leading up to the release of her second book in the series titled A Dog's Life scheduled to be released August 17th, 2017.
Finally, a coming of age series with all the pure sweet innocence that came from a time not so long ago. This will move you and lift your spirits as you go on the journey of a girl finding her way into young adulthood, with the help of a cute little dog named George! BIO
Carla J. Underwood was born in Indiana and grew up in a small town in the northwest corner of the state. She learned both the challenges and the rewards of living in a small community.
She and her husband now live in a quaint Montana town not far from the university where they met.
Her knowledge of small-town life is woven throughout her 1950s series about Willowdale, Indiana — Mrs. Ivey’s Café, A Dog’s Life, & A Granddaughter’s Promise. She also applied that knowledge to her contemporary family fiction series continuing the Ivey family legacy — The General Store Legacy & Final Fire Call.
